ABOUT FPF

Fait par Foutch, pronounced "Faye-Par-F-ouch" and meaning "made by" in French, was founded by Megan Foutch in 2021.

Megan, originally from Nebraska, studied Fashion Design at the University of Nebraska and furthered her education in Florence, Italy, at the Florence University of the Arts, where she mastered draping and pattern making. After graduating, she moved to California to intern for a small brand and worked in the fashion industry for four years. When the pandemic hit and she was furloughed, Megan decided to pursue her lifelong dream of starting her own brand. With just $1,200 and no external funding, she launched Fait par Foutch from her Santa Monica apartment, creating the website, patterns, and sewing every order herself.

The brand gained attention with a viral design and quickly grew. Megan found a local production company in Los Angeles, which she still partners with today, and has expanded production to China with a sustainable and certified company that ensures fair wages and ethical practices. Known for its feminine and romantic aesthetic, Fait par Foutch combines modern femininity with timeless romance, blending sustainable practices and unique material combinations.

Debuting at Paris Fashion Week in 2023, the brand received significant media attention and attracted buyers. Worn by celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter, Fait par Foutch is now available at select stockists including its own website, Revolve.com, ModaOperandi.com, and WolfandBadger.com. Megan plans to expand her team and create more collections each year, always staying true to the brand’s principles of sustainability and unique female individualism.
